I found this gem of a jumpsuit at the thrift store the other day and my boyfriend did not believe me that I could totally pull it off. So half to spite him and half because its a really cool jumpsuit, I bought it and photoshooted it. I liked the buttons open so I put my bandeau underneath it and I belted it because its a bit massive on me. It has a really nice vintage-y vibe to it that I really enjoy and the pattern in just adorable! Unfortunately we were forced to shoot indoors today as it was pouring down rain and the photos don't quite do it justice if you ask me.

Crochet Top

I feel like this outfit is a bit of a 70s flashback. The top is a women's XL that I found at Goodwill, so obviously it was a bit big on me, but I was so in love with it that I determined to buy it anyways. I wanted it to look more like a dress than a shirt, which worked since it was so baggy. Because it is a bit see through and short I wore my black shorts underneath and a black bandeau that you can just see peek-a-boo-ing through. Lastly I added on a 70s style headband in order to keep that whole vibe going. The only thing I wish in retrospect is that I would have worn black shoes, but these work as well I suppose.

That Little White Skort

This little skort has been all up on lookbook lately. And for obvious reasons, its really, super cute. I've seen so many fun styles and outfits done with it and I'd been wanting a white skirt anyhow so I was eager to purchase my own and take my spin on it. The style originates from Zara I believe but other than Black Milk I tend not to purchase the more expensive clothes, not because I think they aren't worth it, because I'm sure the quality pays for itself, but I tend to have way too many clothes so I don't wear them often enough to need to worry about the quality. Thats bad I know, but I'm a clothes hoarder, I can't help it. Anyway, moving on, I got this mock version off of ebay. Its a bit big on me unfortunately as they didn't have it in an XS and I have absolutely no booty, so for this outfit I belted it, which seems to have worked okay. In the future I may try pinning it or something, it really is the perfect little summer skort! And for under $10, definitely a worthwhile investment!

Polka Dot Skirt

Unfortunately it is a bit nasty outside at the moment. My friend and I were planning on going on a hike today but the pouring rain put a bit of a dagger in that plan, so instead we are going to go shopping. Kind of opposite ends of the spectrum, but hiking and shopping are actually two of my favorite things. This outfit would really be much more suited for a sunny day, but I was dying to wear it so I figured I'd just make do and do an indoor shoot instead. I love the polka dotted skirt, its fun and summery and comfy too. I got it from the same consignment store as the shoes. The rest of the outfit is from the thrift store so all in all I guess its the perfect outfit for a thrifty thursday!

Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust

So recently Black Milk Clothing had a 30% off sale on their website. Being the BM junkie that I am,
I obviously freaked out and waited like a hawk for the sale to start. I ended up buying these leggings and a swim. Love them both! These ones are the fairy paint silver leggings, they are so gorgeous and shiny and unique and pretty much everything wonderful. I could not be more enamored. And I think I've already put together at least 10 new outfits featuring them. Unfortunately they are no longer available at BM but they do have a couple similar styled ones. The shirt is a thrifted find and I put a white bustier on underneath to offset all the black. And then I threw on this awesome white vest that I got off of ebay.
